Orskov Yard A/S is a limited company privately owned by the Ørskov Christensen Family.

Location:
Orskov Yard A/S is located in Frederikshavn, Denmark in the heart of Scandinavia and at the northern tip of the European continent, with easy acces by sea, road and air.

The Shipyard:
Orskov Yard A/S converts and repairs all types of ships up to 215 x 34 metres. The yard employes app. 160 people and has a big amount of suppliers within the Frederikshavn area.

History:
1958	Arne Ørskov Christensen founds Ørskov Christensens Steelshipyard A/S at Østre Kaj for the purpose of building steel fishing vessels.
1972	Niels Ørskov Christensens takes up the post of President.
1974	Ørskov Christensens Staalskibsværft A/S becomes a limited company
1976	Opening of Pier VI (the outfitting department)
1983	Opening of Sandholmen (the steel department).
1991	Opening of paint workshops
1999	Ørskov Christensens Staalskibsværft A/S enters into a rental agreement involving half of the former Danyard’s area i.e. the docks, cranes and the big fabrication hall (today named Orskov Syd).
2003	The whole repair department from Ørskov Christensens Staalskibsværft A/S is transfered over to a new company Orskov Yard A/S. The core buisness of Orskov Yard A/S is conversions and repair of all types of vessels. Orskov Yard A/S is privately owned by the Ørskov Christensen Family, and the post as Managing Director is taken up by Jeppe Ørskov Christensen.
